Re: A hello and a request
The Padron 3000 is a steal, and La Aroma de Cuba can't be beat in terms of quality and cost!! Also, for a super cheapie, Savoy (Ashton's bargain brand) aren't bad. Oh, and Flor de Olivia bundles should be the image you see in the dictionary when you look up the word BARGAIN, baby!!!
Lot's of great stuff out there, which is what makes the hobby a fun one ![]()

Re: A hello and a request
Check out Stogiefresh.com. It's a site my buddy started to rate cigars stored over time, etc. There's some great tasting notes on the several cigars he's rated.
I say, try something AF Hemingway, Padron 1926 or 1964 maduros, LG by La Flor Dominicana, Camacho Corojo, Gurkha Legend, Trinidad... |

Re: A hello and a request
Welcome to the jungle. Best sure to get lost, it's the best jungle in the world to be lost in.
I guess I'll weigh in with suggestions for a newbie. For light body and medium flavor, try a Cusano 18 or a Rocky Patel 1992 vintage. For medium to full try a Fuente Hemingway, or Don Carlos or La Gloria Reserva Figurado. For full try a Camacho Corojo Dark. Best, The Doc |

Re: A hello and a request
I'm new to CS too, but not to NC cigars. I started a long time ago with Leon Jimenez (pretty mild), but now I tend to smoke Partagas Series S, CAO Cameroon, Ashton VSGs and Cabinet, La Gloria Cubana Serie R, and Joya de Nicaragua....when I can't have Habanas which is, unfortunately, most of the time.
