Day to Give Thanks - What are you lighting up?

On such a great day, we should all reflect on how fortunate we are, regardless of what problems we have. No matter what ails you or what is going on in your life, someone is always significantly worse off and wishing they were in your shoes. So, since you are in fact in your shoes, give thanks.

What are you planning as that truly special smoke for the day to be just that much more grateful that you can enjoy it?

Happy Thanksgiving to all BOTLs and may you enjoy many more.

I give thanks for all that I have, and will celebrate that with an FDO cheapie in the A.M., followed by a Padron Anni (gifted from SeanGar) post dinner, and wrap things up with a late night HDM Epi.

Re: Day to Give Thanks - What are you lighting up?

I am thankful for what I have. I am mostly thankful for the friends and family in my life. Without that everything else in my life would be worthless. I started out my day by cracking open a tin of Raven Wing that was gifted to me by Bill(MaduroFan) at our last Herf. A bowl of PURE HEAVEN!!!!!! Thank You Bill!!! Later, I'll be going over my brother's place for dinner and bring a couple of Monte #2's to end a great day.

Have a great Thanksgiving and a safe holiday!!

Ron

I'm not thankful for anything. Going to try a Pre Embargo Ghurka at the local American Legion which is open from 10am til 2pm.........Then have a pizza for supper and a few more drinks..

Jerry in Minnesota.

I am thankful for my family, who have made me crazy and kept me sane.

Haven't chosen the gar yet but whatever it is I'm gonna try to get it smoked in the basement without pissing everyone off - it's 14 frikin' degrees with 30 mph winds!

Happy T-giving.

Definately an Opus and a RASS. Of course it's all subject to change.

Cuaba!
Enjoy them much more than the Partagas.
Partagas is a whole lot stronger, IMHO.

Ahhhh, Sounds like a perfect match up!!!!! Love them both. You are correct, the Parti is a fuller stick than the Cuaba. Enjoy my friend

Re: Day to Give Thanks - What are you lighting up?

Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Thanksgiving is a 5-day smoke for me. Yesterday, I started with a Camacho El Legend-Ario and an Opus Opus X. Today will be an Avo Signature and a 100 Años. Tomorrow a Padrón Serie 1926 and a Camacho Liberty 2003. Boyond that I can't say yet. Whatever I throw in, in between, is still to be decided, but the rest of them bad boys is going down.

On the liquor list I have to try the following: MacCallan 15 yr and 18yr single malt Scotch. Gautier Blue and Gold Cognac, Blanton's Single Barrel Bourbon.

Best to all,

The Doc

Re: Day to Give Thanks - What are you lighting up?

I think I lied.

Smoked the Anni for lunch as planned.
HOWEVER, the Cuaba Salomon, didn't make it to dinner.
Actually finished it well before.

What that all means to me is that it will have to be a three stick day.
The question is, what is number three to this fine day?

Of all the ones I have, I think it boils down to two choices.
The PSD4 and the Trini Robusto Extra.
Somehow, I think the Parti is well on its way to paradise.
