Phoenix Area *Event* Cigar Rollers?

Hey fellas,

My brother's getting married in December and a few of us want to chip in and have a cigar roller come out to the reception, roll some cigars, and be available for custom cigar requests.

First off - any thoughts on what that might cost?

Second - for my Phoenix fellas - any good recommendations?

I'm not a Phoenix fella but this one is easy- Tim from Habano Torres, not only does he roll them but they are some of the finest cigars I have ever smoked.

He is AMAZING. I've frequented his place in Mesa several times...I didn't even think about the fact that he may do this!

I would recommend that you or your party go out there and HERF with him a few times before asking him flat out if this is something he would do.

What would the bride say about this type of addition to the wedding reception?
You could potentially upset a lot of party goers with the smoke.

Turns out - according to his site - he does offer this service.

Oh - and as far as the bride goes - she doesn't really have a say in the matter. It's a gift that "they won't know about" of course.

As far as the other people attending the reception - the answer's simple: don't go outside where we're smoking if you don't like cigars.

Having been to Tims shop and smoking with him a couple of times I would vote Habanos Torres as well!!

Interesting take on a gift....but again...this is truly the Bride's day to shine and to have that day be outdone by the coolness of having a cigar roller on site selling his cigars and/or rolling for people.....

I would seriously think this idea through....work the idea out with the Bride if it is a gift for the the Groom. Last thing you want is to have the family tell Tim to pack his gear and leave.

Maybe you want to do it as an activity for his bachelor party?

That is true, it is their day and I dont know how old you are...but my wife would NEVER forgive someone he upstaged her wedding...and that could interfere with you and your friends relationship.

If its for the groom, as the bride...or do it for the bachelor party.
