Dear mom and dad -- here's my 900 lb. gorilla I made friends with while at school -- hope you don't mind!

Funny story! At least your honest with them. I wouldn't have been at your age.

Awesome story. I've run into the trying to explain to people. One just started lurking around here, then he understood entirely.

It's always hard to explain until you actually become a CS member.

Re: Just one of those conversations I knew was gonna be fun...

I was bombing someone from work so when one of the guys at work asks me what Im sending, I started telling him about bombing people, on a website, group bombs, etc.

About a minute into the conversation, I realized I sounded like a crazy man.....and gave up.

Re: Just one of those conversations I knew was gonna be fun...

Got my first bomb last week from MNWanger, thank goodness my girlfriend
knows that Mike and I send eachother some cigars once in a while and
thinks nothing of it.

I would not know how to explain it if something else would come in.
How do you explain that another person you never met, descided to send
you a bunch of cigars or something like that. Though I think Don Fernando
and me got some people in trouble at home as well with pink clogs,
coca leaf liquor and what not, explain that at home .

It is hard to explain to someone why you are bombing as well though
At least my girlfriend doesn't really get that part, sending someone you
never met before stuff they never heard of before
I told her it's a gorilla thing

The only way I can think of that would make your mom understand would
be to send her a bomb like I said in chat last night.

Re: Just one of those conversations I knew was gonna be fun...

Yeah, Alicia (my gf) saw the first bomb Joey (ir13) had ever sent me, which consisted of a humi and also a bunch of cigars, a cutter, and a lighter. She asked me why I kept buying all this cigar stuff when I complained about being broke! I told her that I didn't buy it, some guy on the internet that I didn't know sent it to me b/c he wanted me to have it.... She thought I was lying! I had to show her the package and the little note for her to understand. Hell, at that time, even I didn't really understand the concept of a bomb.

After a few months here, I'm starting to get it. But other people will just never understand. Luckily, my parents were both the recipients of almost anonymous generosity when they were first together, and so they understand the concept of paying it forward. They always tell me not to be in a rush to pay it forward to others immediately, but that when I see the opportunity, I will know exactly what needs done. Boy were they right!
