Re: Cigar side effect?

Some of the bigger RG cigars will do to me. It's pretty funny.

If you want to add cultures back into your stomach you need to buy acidolphulus supplements. I have had great results with acidolphulus and slippery elm for repairing intestines and stomach problems.
Slippery elm is great. You can also buy enzymatic supplements that may be helpful. An (non-New Age) herbalist would be a good source of information.

Some years back I consulted an herbalist. In our conversation I complained of chronic bowel issues. It came out in her queries that I had been gutting chewing tobacco for years. She laughed at me & pointed out my foolishness for gutting chew & wondering why I had the trots. Perhaps the strong tobacco did trigger your problem.

BTW, you have an amusing descriptive style.

I've made yogurt using starter cultures from several brands that I bought at the grocery store. Bacteria grow like crazy when provided the right environment; millions per gram is plenty. I have no idea how much bacteria you need to successfully seed your gut... fresh homemade yogurt is delicious, though!

Re: Cigar side effect?

The only side effect I get from cigars is felt by my wallet!

Hopefully you will not have this experience again.
