I'm interested in all answers but most interested in Line 2 answers. I don't know if the works of the xtend are exposed enough to care about the shape they are in.

No....... I have an xtend that I use it all the time, probably a couple years old now and it lights just like the day i bought it. I may have purged the fluid once or twice and thats about it. Zero problems.

Re: Do you clean your Dupont?

Addiction...for making sure you have a long and extended hassle free Dupont experience with the Ligne 2s....ALWAYS PURGE...The reason why has to do with the temp difference of the butane cylinders versus the temp of your lighter...it can cause condensation to build inside of the fuel reservoir...Always purge...and for your best cigar lighting experience, check to see if the vendor you bought it from had it converted to a cigar lighter...the easiest way to tell is to open the fuel all the way...if two flames are present, you are golden...if not, it will still light cigars just fine...just not as evenly on the large ring gauge sticks... Any other questions you should have...the answers can be found in the literature in the Dupont box...or ask...

Re: Do you clean your Dupont?

I use a can of compressed air (same kind of stuff to clean computers) to blow out the gunk that builds up.
