When you don't bring enough cigars...

This is my favorite weekend of the year. We have a fireman's carnival within walking distance of our lake house. At that carnival, the have assorted fried food, beer and clams in a big firetruck garage. They also have giant 1g cans on the picnic tables as ashtrays. Not the kind of place somebody's going to tell you to put out your cigar!
So skip back 3 hours... I'm leaving my house and I have my hanging clothes in one hand, a package to ship to a contest winner(see my signature)in the other, and my two cigar case with an illusion 68 and CG:4. I stopped on my way out realizing that I forgot my brand new never used palio cutter. Got it. Thought to myself, should I grab more cigars. But never did. Was going to stop at the B&M on the way up, but couldn't get a parking space. Two cigars will have to do.
Well, back to the clam tent... At this point we've got a crowd of friends and I want a cigar. I grab my case and pull out the 68. I only have two cigars and I almost figured this would get less attention. So, I cut it, the palio worked perfectly. Just begin to light it and my friend asks if I have another. I said I do but its a CG:4, it's going to last longer then my 68. I considered giving him the 68 and taking the CG for myself. I didn't, I gave it to him and we began smoking. A few of our friends asked for tastes and we obliged and ended up sharing the cigars. The conversations opened up and we found ourselves having a very nice evening. At some point I realized that it was almost a nice thing not having enough cigars for everyone and forcing us to share.

Just thought I'd share!

Oh, next time I will bring enough for everyone though!

I hear you on this one....It seems everytime I light up a cigar my buddies want one...I need to buy some cheap quality smokes for my friends instead of them taking all my good stuff everytime
