I don't think I've ever smoked more than 3 in a whole day. In one sitting, the most I ever smoke is 2, and that's a rare occurance. Any more than that just fries my mouth and I don't enjoy them.

One of the guys at the b&m said he smoked 12 cigars last Sat. night. Said that the nicotine and alcohol counter-acted each other. Woke up the next morning feeling great. For myself I can probably get away with three spaced out over the day without losing my palate. Rarely do I have the time or desire to smoke that many cigars. This weekend I plan on looking like a chimney. A cigar in one hand and an adult beverage in the other. Breakfast of champions.

Honestly, I have been told that smoking a cigar a day will likely not affect one's health. So, even tho I'm tempted, I stay at one per day. On rare occasion I've indulged in two, but not shotgun. Yes, health DOES figure into the equation for me!

This is one reason why herf smoking usually takes a bit of planning. Soft drinks with sugar will help to counteract some of the nicotine. Smoking slowly will keep the tastebuds from getting overheated and dull. At a usual herf 1pm-10pm I will usually smoke from 6-9 cigars. I try to bring a wide variety of flavors and strengths. Start of with a mild to medium build to the strongest just after dinner. Then cruise to the end with a few CC's or medium smokes.

Went to a herf on Saturday and smoked nine stogies. Friday, I had two, Thursday 3 and Wednesday 2. Well, my friend from North Dakota was visiting and we kind of went crazy.

with me it's around my 4th or 5th in a sitting, but it also really depends on the beverage im having. If i'm having an ipa or a scotch i will probably not taste anything past the 3rd smoke. If i have water or red wine, or tea, i can taste till about the 5th, then i'm saturated...and sandpapered

Try drinking some Amarula,,,it's like baileys or Kaluha only much better.
I also live part time in San Diego and enjoy the year round smoking weather.

Usually 2 depending on what the first one was. If I'm not careful I can get and upset stomach pretty easy with 2 fuller body cigars.

I normally smoke a cigar a day, sometimes 2 if I can.

On weekends, especially Holiday weekends, maybe I can get 3 in a day.
But, I'm lucky to do that. It's a time factor. I just don't have the time
to just sit around and smoke! Maybe some day I can do a herf and smoke
all day, but I think that's more for the younger chimps that have more time than me.

It's all about the pace and the mix for me. Easy to burn your palate by smoking something too quickly or too strong early in the day.

Taking breaks, eating and drinking help clean things up a bit. In the end though, after serial smoking for a few hours you are wasting big $$$ cigars if you don't cleanse a bit. Still can enjoy the smoking experience and taste the essence of a cigar, but the nuances are elusive/gone.
