I quit both dip and cigs after 9 years of off-and-on use (I "quit" many times in that 10 years, for a couple months here and there). The Mint Snuff helped. So did sunflower seeds. I had to also stop drinking while I was quitting because an alcohol buzz clouded my judgment and I'd fall off the wagon. A complete change of lifestyle was what it took for me to finally stop - I got into an exercise routine, changed jobs, etc. I had enough changes going on that it almost felt like a clean break and chance to start over. It was tough, but now it's been over six years and all is well. I still have dreams about dip or cigs sometimes, and wake up feeling freaked out about it.

It's a really tough addiction to quit. I have a lot of admiration for anyone who does quit successfully. Best of luck to you guys trying to break the habit.

I sure hope so because I am definetly trying that lately. We will have to see how it goes
