The last thing I smoked that knocked me on my feet was the Oliva Serie V torpedo, man what an awesome smoke. But the only time I've yacked was when someone gave me a maduro to smoke right when I started smoking, not a good idea.

Time to play with a Joya de Nicaragua Antano Consul right off the truck. Your vision will turn green. When you recover, we can play with the various Flor de Dominica blends. There is a lot of strong stuff out there that can really screw you up if not careful.

The Coronado double toro gets me every time. I can handle 99.9% of the sticks out there but that one nails me every single time.

Re: First Nicotine Buzz from a Cigar

The first cigar that really knocked me down was a ISOM Montecristo #2. I was about to get into my car when I just lost all sense of balance and my vision blurred. Was over in two minutes, but still, that was intense.

I get a huge buzz from Dunhill EMP, but that is for a different thread

I smoked a Camacho in a jacuzzi once! Didn't realize the buzz till I got out but literally felt like crap for a full day. Haven't been in a jacuzzi since!

Re: First Nicotine Buzz from a Cigar

The only thing that I've really felt a nicotine hit from so far was a Camacho Tenth Anniversary. A couple weeks after I started smoking cigars regularly there was a Camacho event nearby on my birthday. I knew Camachos were strong so I ate and drank a bunch before I went and it still had me a little woozy.

Re: First Nicotine Buzz from a Cigar

Leon Jiminez torpedo once knocked me around real hard and the stomach was tore up for a good 4 hours - will never have another one of those again and the ironic thing is I'm told they're not any worse than a strong Camacho or Olivia which didn't phase me - I believe it depends on the conditions outside (if that's the case, especially with heat) and what and how much you had to eat prior to - luck of the draw in some ways.

The only buzz I ever got was off of my first Opus X Fuente Fuente. It made me feel and I had to lie down.

Re: First Nicotine Buzz from a Cigar

I know I am going to be trying "again" to quit smoking cigerettes, and picking up cigars just might help me more this time.
My thoughts were...since my body has already been aclimated to nicotine I prolly wont ever get the buzz. Or will I? I have not tried anything really strong yet, but I plan on it soon.

Are there many here that smoke cigerettes as well?

I had only been smoking a month when I had 3 or 4 cigars new years eve of '06-'07, 2 of which were a Padron anniversary maduro and an Indios Puros. Didn't get sick but sure got a bit light headed.
