La Gloria Cubana Reserva Figurados

I'm sure this has been touched on, but I tried the LGC Reserva figurado this morning, and I was really impressed. Was just wondering what everyone else thought.

If you haven't tried it, I recommend it...not ready to review it really, but it's a sweeter smoke and the burn was fantastic. The build was great, and like most figurados this shape, burned through in one light with no problems and a great ash. Medium flavor I would say, but a lot of nice flavor things happening in this that I didn't expect.

I am not a big fan of LGC in general...every once in a while I can have one, but overall I don't really care for them. This reserva series is quite tasty though and I will definetly smoke again. Get some while they last people!

Thanks for the thread. I won a fiver of these on CBid last weekend. Should be here by Wednesday. Looking forward to comparing it against the Serie R and my regular LGC Corona Gorda.

I've had quite a few of them and think them a fine smoke: good taste, excellent burn. But thruthfully, there are other ecuadorian sungrown cigars I've enjoyed more -- the Rocky Patel Sungrown Torpedo being one. Sadly this doesn't apply to the other vitolas I've tried and the Torpedos are impossible to find these days.
