I'll take the two VSGs for the price of one ESG....

Ouch, I see what you guys mean by the price (19 to 21 per stick). It better be worth the price before you light up that hummer....

Re: ashton Esg

I bought my dad one for Fathers Day. He smoked it, then went online to see what I spent on it, then he apologized to me and bought me dinner.

Re: ashton Esg

I agree with everyone else, VSG's are much tastier.

If you have the opportunity, do a side by side with a couple of smokers and I think you'll find the VSG is a much tastier smoke. While the ESG really isn't mild, it's not the type of cigar I would want after a nice dinner, while the VSG is. The ESG would better follow a lite sushi lunch.

I agree. The one I had was quite good. For the money, I'll stick with the VSG which are a LOT easier to find.

I think these are great smokes, and better than the VSG IMO! I prefer the robusto over the Churchill, but they're both excellent. Expensive but tasty.

Re: ashton Esg

i thought they were fairly bland, and definately not worth their hefty price.

Re: ashton Esg

Ashton ESG's I heard were good but not as great as the price commands, try and find a B&M trying to get rid of them, because Ashton seems to stick a box in every allocation of VSG. Other Shops we swap and trade/sell to are trying their best to just get rid of them. They cost ALOT. Infact, if you compared it to Opus X, Opus is like buying a bundle compared to the ESG.
