No offense intended Ed, but if ytou are considering the relationship as "serious" after 7 weeks, you are moving too fast IMHO. You two are still in a very early stage, be careful about getting in too deep too fast.

As far as the original question, I say "Honesty is the best policy"...period. Hope she ias able to accept your passion.

Icehog, You are 100% correct, poor choice of words on my part, it really is not their yet. Seven weeks is the longest I've been in it since ending a very close 2 year relationship back in November.

After re-reading this thread several times this whole situation really is not all that serious or as difficult to understand as I originally thought. After reading this thread, I kind of realized that I have fudged things up a bit in how I handled things. I really realize that you have to be true to yourself and others, honesty really is the best policy.

I debated a while whether or not to post this thread because I don't like airing my personal business here, I come to discuss cigars and some other things, and that's about it. Thanks to all the gorillas that took their time out to lend their advice, it is much appreciated.

First off, I don't agree with the "tip-toe friendly fascist conditioning concept". There is no spin about the issue. Either you do or don't.

Yeah because the world works so much better if you just give everyone ultimatums without even bothering to explain what the implications of each decision will be.

Oh and fascist? That doesn't even come close to meaning anything that makes sense in the context of that sentence. It is, in fact, more fascist to not condition, not tip-toe, and accept no spin on the issue.
