Public thanks to Puros Indios

Ok so I was one of the ones who chimed in on the last Puros Indios thread. I said that while I enjoyed their cigars as a noob I had grown tired of them and didn't feel that they offered anything more than a generic tobacco flavor profile.

Justin, their rep, offered to send a few sticks of some new blends so I took him up on it. The 3 cigars arrived today. They picked up the cost of the smokes and the UPS bill which was very nice and much appreciated.

I've attached a photo (sorry for the quality I just used my BlackBerry).

To be fair I'll sample one each evening and report back with my thoughts.

They seem a bit wet so I'm going to let them sit through the weekend and try them early next week.

I got an UPS tracking email, mine will be here tomorrow. I have traded some emails with Frank Santos, their marketing director seems like a great guy

I received the same today. Will give 'em a little time and take 'em for a ride.

Thanks, Justin

They may need to sit for a day or so. We have been shipping out the Classic line as fast as we can! They are in high demand right now. I did not even know what would be sent out to you as I just put in the request.

I hope you enjoy and I expect your HONEST opinion on them. Make sure the Classic is your first smoke since it is a mild cigar with great flavor.

Any questions, let me know!

A little background on those sticks. Puros Indios, Inc. underwent some corporate changes back in December. The name was changed to Reyes Family Cigars, Inc., and Rolando Reyes, Sr.'s grandson, Carlos Diez, was given the top seat. They still make the old brands (Puros Indios, Cuba Aliados, Cienfuegos, et. al) but are adding these new ones as well. The new stuff is different. I have had the opportunity to try the Premier and the Classic, and I thoroughly enjoyed them both. I think you just might like them.

Re: Public thanks to Puros Indios

I also got a nice sample of the new lines from Reyes Family cigars. This is a very nice gesture.

Thanks very much, I hope I will enjoy them as much as the Cienfuegos!

Thanks I appreciate that. If someone does not like something, I want to know why and what they don't like about it. On the other hand, don't smoke a mild cigar expecting the kick of a full body. You have to judge the cigar on what it is suppose to be and see if it measures up to that.

Got mine over the weekend, sitting in the humi. Frank hooked it up, and have had some great emails with him, since he is a huge college football fan
