How mild are El Rey de los Habanos

Can anyone provide me with an idea as to how mild the El Rey de los Habanos by Don Pepin are?

I went to a not to local B & M looking for them as he sells other DPG lines, and he informed me that they didn't sell well as they were too too mild.

Are they milder than a Cabaiguan? Or perhaps more like a Macanudo

I tried posting this earlier, but I think my connection crapped out and now I can't see it so forgive me if this is a double post.

Thanks

AKA: Pepin Red Label. I don't think they are mild, at all. A solid med/full to me. Most of the reviews at top25cigar agree.

Some Pepin blends are smoother than others. I'm not fond of every Pepin I have smoked, but have tried the El Rey de los Habanos (courtesy of LeafHog) & found it to my liking. I don't remember it being an airball at all.

They are not mild and they are awesome, especially the original release. An overlooked member of the Pepin line (if there is such a thing). I easily like them as much as the blue labels, and better than the black labels.

NiceAshCigars has them at a very good price and decribes them as medium-full.
I picked up a fiver corona and don't regret it one bit!
IMO it's definitely closer to "medium" than "full".

Re: How mild are El Rey de los Habanos

I would describe them as medium full myself.. Very tasty though. Thanks for the great link to nice ash! Those are good prices.. I may have to pull the trigger on a box.

How would you compare/contrast these w/ DPG Vegas Cubanas? Really starting to love those. Thanks.

Re: How mild are El Rey de los Habanos

IMO the ERdlH is one of DPG's best offerings.

Well, I have now smoked both and can say that they are very different from each other.

The ERdlH are far from mild, definitely a med-full bodied cigar. Very strong woody/nutty flavor whereas the VC are more earthy / loamy in flavor. VCs are a heavier cigar.

Both are outstanding in my book!

Gotta agree with this. The VC's are more medium than the ERdH's, imo.
