Bad day saved by Padron 64 nat.

The best laid plans, right? After a few hours at an indoor, air conditioned Beerfest, my two best friends and I were headed to the local cigar lounge. Up jumps an unexpected child's birthday party. I divert to that with my two youngest kids. While there I spend the entire time helping that friend fix his A/C. (102 degrees in Tulsa today.) The original two buddies bail.

So now, here I sit on my back patio with my first Padron Anni. 1964 Natty. Along for the ride: a big glass of ice water, a large glass of Knob Creek, and an Old Style (Hey, Cubs won today.)

Not such a bad day.......from here on out.

I went looking for the 26's, but they only had that one in Maduro. I wanted to try the natural first. If the 26 is twice as good as this 64, as the price implies, I will be in trouble.
