I've smoked quite a few of these, and haven't had any black fingers. A couple of toasty finger tips, but never black.

pure FUD there I reckon

the second release, the torps are nowhere near as good as the first, not yet anyhow. I keep waiting and so far have managed my longest stretch, gotta be 3 or 4 months, since smoking one. About time for another sampling

It originated as a public relations tactic, I credit it's invention to Microsoft (first I heard it used anyhow). The tactic is to start rumors, fear, uncertainty, doubt about a competitor's product.

Not saying the poster has done this purposely and I suppose I've not used the term 100% correctly, I tend to use it to label things like bogus email stories about Barak Obama, Starbucks hating the troops and the like, you know, the kind of things you know you oughta run through snopes first before passing them on?

Whether you mean harm or not, passing on bogus information without knowing it for a fact contributes to the FUD campaign

I'm sure I've smoked at least 100 of these. I've never had black fingers or mouth. It doesn't bother me if they are dyed. Heck, virtually everything we eat and drink has some kind of "dye"/food coloring, etc. in it. If I were going to worry, I'd worry about the 200 "hands" that touch the tobacco from the field to the consumer.
