Padilla Obsidian cigar question

This may be a funny question, but I need to ask

I found a grain of black pepper on my bedspread, and it's either from dinner or my Obsidian:

Do these cigars contain actual granules of pepper inside the tobacco?

I've heard they're spicy, but I'm not sure I could believe that without someone more knowledgeable informing me of the fact.

Well, my personal opinion was that they had more of a cocoa flavor, with maybe just a wee touch of spice. They are pretty good, but not great by any means. I only smoked 5 of them, so............I'm sure opinions will vary on these. MMMM...speck of pepper in yer bed? Maybe them mites a shittin!

Re: Padilla Obsidian cigar question

I've smoked several bundles of Obsidian's and never found specks of pepper.

I think this is a real "bang for the buck" cigar at $2.00 and I really enjoy them. I've got another three bundles coming shortly.

I used to work at the Padilla headquarters in Miami and I can promise you, there is no black pepper put into the cigars.

There's no pepper, but they may taste like there's pepper in there.

I have smoked quite a few of the Obsidian's and I have never tasted pepper, or seen pepper in them.

Thanks groogs...I didn't think it would hurt to ask, and it was worth a few laughs I'm sure.

Re: Padilla Obsidian cigar question

I've read that the newer Obsidians have dyed wrappers though that doesn't offer insight to the pepper issue. Because of this I won't try them. Just say no to black fingers.

You might say no to black fingers my friend, but would you turn down a free cigar (which this is)?
