My wife loves the vanilla flavored cigars. So far the Casa Marina is the only one I can find. I would love to get her some quality vanilla cigars. I'll keep my eyes on the website!

Well ... I think putting the roller on web cam would be a great idea. I'm sure it won't turn out to be very difficult. From a couple of the responses in this thread, it sounds like some folks have at least some of the research behind them.

And heck- I'd try a vanilla cigar. Bring it on.

The roller idea could backfire depending on how it's displayed on your website (I'm assuming, you'll host it). A lot of people enjoy boutique lines, I am one of them, but if you showcase just one roller, then you've moved below boutique into a mom and pop outfit.

I know taboo is not a one man show, so if you broadcast the roller, make sure there are other rollers in the background. This enforces the idea that you all are a serious operation with solid production capabilities.

And if you had someone savvy to do your website, they could probably archive them in on taboocigars.com


youtube.com is rather childish, but it is painless and a breeze to operate. If 11 year olds can record a video of them shooting themselves with a paintball gun and put it on the web for future employers to see, it can't be that hard!!!

taboocigars.com seems to run on a Linux box, so *if* you have physical access to the web server you could hook up a webcam to it and broadcast the stream using Camserv (http://cserv.sourceforge.net/). This stream could be configured on a different address or port, so it wouldn't affect the loading of your website, unless your bandwidth is already getting maxed out.

If not, one of the thousands of free streaming hosts, like the ones suggested here would do as well. Youtube is not an option if you want to broadcast live streams, as far as I know. Although, I don't know much about youtube, so I might be talking out of my hiney here...
