I should also mention the incredible generousity from everyone here. All the trades, all the bombs, A get well package from the first couple of CS, Tom for sending me to the dark side and creating a monster, and of course as said before all the crazy Florida monkeys who shared their wealth of knowledge and cigars this year. I can only hope in the next year here to repay some of it. You guys have made a VERY rough year for me THAT much better.

Re: Best Club Stogie Memory of 2005

I drove 500 miles (eight hours) to attend a British Car Show in Richmond, VA in September. I check into the hotel and I seemed to remember that a ClubStogie member lived in Richmond so sent him a PM, told him I was in town and told him my cell phone number.

Now, this was someone who I barely knew, but he called me back right away and we met up for drinks at the local brew pub and smoked and traded some ceegars.

The next day, he brought his car to the car show and once the show was over, he brought me to a beer fest in Richmond (if it wasn't for him I never would have known about it) then out to dinner and the next day, he introduced me to Uncle Mikey. WOW, did we have a great time!!!

Thanks ALTBIER for a fantastic Club Stogie Memory of 2005 and for "showing me the town" in the beautiful city of Richmond, VA.

Well I know I am new here but I have had a blast. I have to say I will never forget the warm welcome from all the gorillas here at CS. I also want to say I have met some great people on here (thought not face to face yet). And the many of days spent talking on AIM with a very cool BOTL.

Thanks everyone for the great time here so far...

Heres to 2006 and hopefully meeting some of you guys in a VA/MD herf.

In my short time here, I would have to say the herf with rock star and RenoB has to be the best. But being blown away by dadof3, bc3po, and RBP67 when I was a new newbie really was the coolest.

Re: Best Club Stogie Memory of 2005

Going to all the herf's that we have been too this year, meeting all the great BOTL's that we've been fortunate to meet has been very special for us and moments that we will cherish forever. All the bombing runs that been coordinated (especially if I got to help) .. the top one for me would be the most touching one....

The Edisonbird Run... everyone got together to let a BOTL know how much we all care about him. I hope we helped to make his last few weeks a little brighter. Thank you Gary for giving us that chance.

The way this family reaches out to help another BOTL when they're down is a family we're proud to be a part of. Thank you all for allowing us to be a part of this great CS FAMILY!!

Anita & Frank

Re: Best Club Stogie Memory of 2005

Oh I forgot to mention my COOL custom member title compliments of Altbier.

Altbier hooked me up at the beerfest as a "volunteer" which meant I got in for free and drank for free, BUT we were supposed to pour beer for the vendors if they needed us to or if they could find us. We did out best to lay low but this one guy from a microbrewery out of Baltimore called "Clipper City" grabbed me and asked me if I'd pour beer for him. So this guy walks away and leaves me alone in the Clipper City tent. As people came up, they'd naturally ask about the beer so I suddenly evolved into the "Clipper City Pimp" expousing all the virtues and finer points of a beer I had never heard of just five minutes ago, LMAO!! Altbier sees me doing this and starts rolling on the ground laughing his arse off.

Thus my custom member title. Another great ClubStogie memory for 2005

My best memory of the year is just of finding this place...
