"Original" Cubans

Has anyone ever had one of these cigars from CI. They are called " "Original" Cubans"?

Not trying to be a snob or dick but I bet they suck... If there was a cigar as good as these claim to be they would cost more...

Re: "Original" Cubans

Savor the Stick sent me an "Original Cubans" belicoso in a trade. I enjoyed it. I would not run out and buy a box/bundle, but I was glad to receive the stick and
did not regret smoking it.

Taste-wise, it kind of reminded me of a Macanudo natural.

You might want to ask STS for a more detailed review, though.

Re: "Original" Cubans

I've had a couple of these. They're pretty decent. They're very mild and slightly sweet, if I'm remembering right. If you smoke often I think they could make a good budget/yard smoke. But, for not much more I think there are a lots of better cigars.

So if you base your choice on price alone, you would miss out on many enjoyable cigars.

I don't recall saying I didn't smoke "value" brands, I said for $1.75 a stick I don't expect them to live up to that description... And I will say that a "great" $1.75 cigar is more fantasy then fact... For every good one, there is ten that suck, IMO...

Sorry, I wasn't trying to "heavy up." I didn't mean it to come across that way... It seemed, from your post, that I was discounting value smokes which is not the case...

Re: "Original" Cubans

Funny, I ordered a bundle yesterday and a box of lot 23's. I used search but original cubans kind of fooled the search function..I was yelling "not original cubans I mean original cubans" I got a lot of good reads though LOL. I ended up reading the comments at CI and just pulled the trigger. Oh and 5'er of Man o War, and 5'er of la Gloria Cubana just to meet the free gift total, a digital hygrometer. I know I got (slope) issues
