Fixed up the garage
One of the guys that I Hang out with fixed up his garage so we could go out there and smoke without freezing... He installed a new heater two weekends ago and we just about choked to death on our smoke and the girls cigaretts...This past weekend he put in 4 fart fans, and a tornado fan, and it was perfect...Really nice and warm plus, not smokey..
Anything you guys do to make your room or garage better? |

Re: Fixed up the garage
I have thought of doing just that.....problem is, I would have to clean my garage first and that just has so little appeal to me. Most would say it's not too bad, I do keep two cars in it but there is just nothing in there to make it comfrortable.....so it's the deck for me.

I would put a lock on it so the women would be locked out.
A few nice comfy chairs,TV, a poker table and a small fridge with beverages in it. I would also rug some of the floor so your feet dont get so cold. A real man cave.

Re: Fixed up the garage
Cool! But...I believe that a super efficient system will diminish your cigar smoking experience. Why? Most smokers like to smell the cigar's smoke and pick up the different bouques that it can give off. I personally love smoking a cigar in a place where the air is nice and still, and I can be enveloped in a cloud of smoke. An exaust system that gradually cleans the air would be ideal.
just my 2 cents.

Re: Fixed up the garage
My wife's father has a smoking room in his *family compound* complete with couches TV's etc. and I have always been jealous of it. After we moved into our new house, I planned to turn our 3rd garage into my smoking lounge. I made it as far as getting a couch in there before my wife mention she thought the whole thing was trashy. Plans kinda stalled out after that.

Re: Fixed up the garage
That sounds really nice. We have a small shed. It's full of stuff, if I moved some stuff around I could fit a steel chair and a heater in their. I thought about doing this. But it's just to much to move in this cold weather...now that I think of it. I'm doing it, I'm tired of freezing and the cigars flavors being muted.
