If you can locate another Boveda packet (or if your current one isn't crunchy) then put that in the ziploc bag. Let it sit in a cool dark place for a week or so and see what happens.
So I stuck the Boveda and the cigars in one bag together, and then bagged that in another.

Would a sponge in there help at all with moisture? If so, how moist should it be, and do I stick it in with the cigars too, or the outer bag?

I would try to stay away from a sponge as it can bring too much moisture and cause mold. Check your cigars after the week and see how the feel. Light one up too to see how they taste. Never hurts.

Gotcha...I'm kinda worried though; I don't really have a cool place for 'em here, so I've got to settle with keeping the fans on...it's not cold, but it's cooled down a little.

Just hope it works, thanks so much
