Awesome Scott, I want you to have my child and my cat wants you to have his kittens. On a more serious note, consider shipping as a kit where the customer assembles the unit with provided instructions and hardware. Much cheaper to ship a flat box than a box that would hold an assembled unit.

I'm beyond my child bearing years, so I'm going to have to pass on you and your cat's generous offer.

I'd consider breaking it down and shipping flat, but it's furniture.
To do it, I'd have to reduce the thing to junk, and I'd have to add a sheet of stickers.

I just soldered in a new power port in my buddies' laptop. To do it I had to tear the whole thing apart to tiny pieces.
When I was done there were five screws left.
When I told him he said, "Dood, that's not bad. I always have a whole bucket of screws left when I'm done with a job."
He's a body guy at a big car dealer here in town.
