Padron Maduro vs PAM 26

Can you guys taste the difference between the Padron Maduro and the Padron Anniversary Maduro 1926? I can't taste any difference. They both tasted like cocoa to me.

Re: Padron Maduro vs PAM 26

I've smoked many a Padron maddy and only a couple 26s. They do have similar flavor profiles. I think the annies are a little more smooth and creamy tasting. YMMV.

Somehow I can taste a difference. Fortunately for me (and my wallet), I like the regular line better

I like them both, but I think the 26 is a little more full-bodied and with the box press of the 26, smokes slower and burns better, IMHO.

64s are better than ANY other Padron's I've had!

Re: Padron Maduro vs PAM 26

1926s are not "Anniversary," check the label!

I notice quite a bit of difference between the two. As I mentioned in another thread, I very much prefer the 1926s over the 1964s but I would never turn down a 1964 if someone were to hand one to me at a herf!

I also do notice quite a bit of difference between the regular Padron maduros and the 1926s and the 1964s. The regular Padrons are okay in my book but to me, the 1964s and the 1926s are well worth the extra $$.

Re: Padron Maduro vs PAM 26

The Padron 26 is smoother and richer from the start, but I prefer the PAM 64s over the 26. The Padron 3000 in either the natural or maduro are great smokes and get smoother as you smoke them.

Re: Padron Maduro vs PAM 26

I am currently smoking a Padron 5000 Maduro and its fantastic. I haven't had a 26 or 64 due to the fact those are way above my price range. But, as for the Padron 5000 it is a fantastic maduro, probably one the best I have had. I will eventually have to get a 26 and 64 (maybe when I finish my PhD in 5 or so years (lol) I will have more cigar spending money) but till then I can see myself smoking the Padron 5000 quite often.
