Anyone of these fits my tastes pretty well, definitely try them for yourself.

I would also suggest you try a Rocky Patel Vintage 1990 - YUMMY!!!

Re: Maduro Cigar selections?

I too am very fond of Maduro though they are VERY difficult to find them where I live in Canada, since Cubans are front and center at many cigar stores. Therefore, brands from other countries don't get much humidor space.

That being said, the Oliva Series G, as others have said is fantastic, especially in view of the $3-$4 these can be found for. This is a very high quality smoke for not alot of money. These cigars smoke like a cigar two or three times the money. Tough to beat, and one of my all-time favorites.

Cool Re: Maduro Cigar selections?

I can't believe that noone has mention the VS 55 series maduro It is one of my personal fav's low priced and in my opinion a very tasty cigar I like the torpedo and the toro the best but there are some shorty that are nice for a quick smoke when time doesn't allow for the usual suspects and I second the A series 5 Vegas I pretty much like everything maduro though but try the Victor Sinclair if you haven't

Enjoyed my first Gurkha last night - a Triple Ligero - MAN!! talk about rich and tasty.

Tons of those dark, luscious maduro flavors and very smooth.

Re: Maduro Cigar selections?

It doesn't matter what we like it's what taste good to YOU!
That being said the maduros that I am presently enjoying are listed in order of preference at this time.

Carlos Torano Signature Churchill
CAO Brazilia Lambada
Padron Maduro Ambassador

Try as many as you can. Then a funny thing happens and your tastes will change and so will your cigars. Have Fun!

Stay away from El Rico Habano and La Flor Dominican Maduros. They are very full body smokes.

(but you might want to buy a couple and hide them away for a year or two--your tastes may change, and then you will thank me.)
