Back home from first day. Meetings took up the entire day. I saw my room for all of 2min. This year's focus is the 21st century learner, meaning we have to teach more w/ computers, texting, podcasts, games and other forms of technology. I'm all for the use of technology, but podcasts and sparknotes.com? Some of the stuff is borderline cheating. Laziness will prevail for future generations.

I can't believe some of the stuff they want to use. By all means use resources available to you, but there comes a point where you need to learn how we got as far as we did, and READ A DAMN BOOK!
