Maker's Mark

A supplier gave me a couple of Marker's Mark robustos in a glass tube. They are called robustos but are toro size 6x50.

Yes...the quality of the tobacco is pretty good. I am not a big fan of flavored cigars, but the flavor of these is subtle, and I liked them better than any other flavored cigar I have smoked, for what it's worth.

I've had the same experience as hog, Bart.

They are pretty good if you ask me. Not worth what they retail for though. I could just barely pick up a hint of bourbon flavor, so it is not overwhelming. Like icehog says the quality is nice. Light it up and enjoy!

I had one gifted to me and would agree with the above comments. I thought the construction and quality were good, but I don't like flavored cigars. The flavor was subtle but not enjoyable for me.

I bought one a year and a half ago and It's been sitting in my humi ever since. I wonder if it still has any flavor

Re: Maker's Mark

I have done some of these myself. Use a tall mason jar and mosten some coton with your liquor of choice. Put the cotton in the bottom, I use an old humidity puck in the bottom of the jar between the cotton and the cigars so the cigars don't touch the cottom and get to moist. I have used Wild Turkey, Famous Grouse scotch and Vodka. One or two days at the most, the cigars really soak up the liquor, kinda fun for a change! Fun to smoke and ride the tractor around the yard and get a buzz!

Re: Maker's Mark

Hmm, I wonder...could one infuse a whiskey flavor into some cigars by seasoning and humidifying a humidor with whiskey?

Seems like a waste, but I might nab a 10-ct humi to try it out sometime.
