If you haven't tried the El Centurion line, they are great! Also the 601 Habanos (Red Label) are really tasty!

The Black Label (Cuban Classic) 1979 Robusto is one of my newest favorites - HIGHLY recommended!

H&G's and Habana Leons are amazing, but there is no competition. Your stuck with whatever Mitchell wants to charge. I usually buy at least one box per year. However, a box of HL's are $200 now.

I live a stone's throw from Cigar King and still haven't tried a HyG. Will pick one up tomorrow now that I've seen someone vouch for them.

Try them all! I don't know if there is a "true" bad blend. He seems to be hitting on all cylinders right now.

Re: Any recomendations for the Pepin line?

I just haven't developed a taste for the Blues yet. I do like the JJ and the Cuban Classic, in that order. I also like the Tat Havana VI line and I love the 5 Vegas Miami. I've found myself grabbing that stick the most lately. It has that Pepin punch but the finish, to me, is sweet. It is a great combination for my taste buds.

Re: Any recomendations for the Pepin line?

I would truly recommend you try all the cigars he makes.
Some you will want again.
Some will be a memory perhaps.
All are worth a try. (my favorites? JJMaduro, Cubao, Tatuaje's, Cuban Classics)

Lonsdales??? HyG is, by far, my favorite Pepin blend. The corona and panatela are my favorites out of the three sizes available. But as it has been mentioned the price keep going up and up.

Lots of good ones listed. I really dig any of the lancero/panatela's. I also really like the Old Henry from Holts and for a cheap Pepin fix, the Ashton Benchmade's fit the bill nicely.

Check out the Pepin Whore social group. We have talked alot about some of the different products he produces.

Re: Any recomendations for the Pepin line?

ALL! - but if you must pick just one - Black Label in a robusto -doesn't get much better. Not a fan of the blues - tried 5 and never grew to like them. The Vegas Cubana's are a good backup.
