It's hard to lose friends, sorry to hear this. The slippery slope tends to include the accessories that go with cigars like an otter box to keep your cigars safe and dry.

I'll never forget balancing a stogie across a glass full of cherry coke and I hit it just right- in it fell. Boy, it sucked up the liquid PDQ! Happily, it wasn't an ESG or anything, but it taught me to keep my cigar away from my drink! Oh, this was in a dirty garage and I figured the glass was the cleanest thing to set the cigar on. True, but.....
