How do you know when you've spent too much time here in one day??

I was on here for a good while yesterday, to the tune of 6+ hours, on and off through the day. Yes, the slope has hit about an 80 degree angle. Plus, I do all I can, to read as much as I can, and had some spare time yesterday.

To my point, it may have been a bit much. After finally ending a chat with SlimDiesel, at like 3am CST (an almost 4 hr straight run). I went to bed. For what seemed to be the majority of my sleeping time, I drempt of looking at thread, several that currently don't exist. Drempt of writing reviews, of cigars I have yet to smoke. Bantering back and forth with the Elders, and I definitely have not done that.

So, I ask, what is too much for you?? When does CS enter your mind, at the wrong time (read into that what you like)? No, I don't find this a distraction, i wouldn't do it, if I did. I was just wondering if anyone had any fun stories, of when the forum shouldn't have been, but was, the thing going through your head.

I am on all the time when I am at my office. I just shrink the screen and keep refreshing. It cures my office boredom.

When home I will check in a few times a day.

Yes ! I am a Club Stogie addict !

When I first started here, I almost lived here. Now, I mostly just check periodically throughout the day and evening to find out what's the latest. I mostly just read now, unless there's a topic I can add something too.

I keep CS minimized at work. Almost all my posts here are early morning/daytime, not many evening posts.

On during work the whole day, and I am on sometimes before work and every evening.

Addict? Yes. Ashamed? Hell no!

At work I checked in 3 or 4 times a day. At home I usually check in in the evening a couple of times. Am I an Addict? Well when I saw the site down the other day for the upgrade I broke out in a cold sweat, so I guess I might have a slight problem.

I know what you mean. The withdrawal is SO much worse than the addiction!

Re: How do you know when you've spent too much time here in one day??

I end up checking in several times a day..er.. hour. Starts out when I first get up in the morning. Check email, read email from CS, click link to threads, read the rest of my email, check CS, reply to email, check CS.

Don't you just hate it when work interrupts your time here

Yep, I have a problem. But if I start to dream about it...oh

Re: How do you know when you've spent too much time here in one day??

I'm a relative newbie but find myself online more and more each day. When work picks up in the spring I may be in big trouble. I have not yet gone to minimizing the site but I do check it 8-10 time daily. Add to that the Devil site, which I found through this forum, and the slope is definately approaching 80 degrees.

Re: How do you know when you've spent too much time here in one day??

Im on here every night for about 4 hours, then I go to bed... I get up too early in the morning to get online in the AM, and I don't have internet at work.

I probably check CS give or take 10x a day for 20 or so minutes each time.

I have slowed down a lot in posting. I read more now then post which is not the norm for me on a forum. I always post then read.
