Looking for OpusX around Central Mississippi...

Greeting all- brand new guy, post number one and all. Thanks for the great info that I have 'lurked' over, by the way.

On another note- I just transferred to my new base in central MS and do not have a tobacconist nearby. I am looking to 'increase my palate' a bit and try some of the Opus X sticks, but can not find any nearby. I realize the shipping is limited, and there has not been a release recently, but seem to see sporadic posts of people finding some. So:

Anyone out there know of any between Memphis, TN and Jackson, MS - or East along the interstate from Tuscaloosa, AL to Chattanooga, TN? I have family that visit often from Chattanooga now that Uncle Sam has us closer to home so I could get them to drop by for me.

I am specifically looking for the 'Fuente Fuente' or the xXx (Power Ranger). Perfect world, some place would have multiples- one to sample and one to let rest...

Please let me know if you have found any. Of course, close to MSRP is preferred til I figure out if I like them or not.


On another note- so I am at least contributing 'something' - I was just turned on to the Illusione cg4 by a friend and it is quite good. Easy draw, complex flavor, minimal aftertaste, etc. I will need to purchase another for a thorough review (and decrease the port that I smoke with it).

You are in Marlboro country. Premium cigars do not come to this state. The only place that I know of that might have them is the Havana Room in Jackson just off of 55 north of Lakeshire drive. Other than that forget it.

If your still looking I know that my local B&M just got in 4 boxes of OpusX, but the down side is you would have to com all the way to South Dakota to find em.

hey guys- thanks for the info. I would be definitely interested in a trade, but would need to know what you guys are interested in. I have an 'abundance' of Cohiba Red Dot Triangulos that I could trade, if anyone is interested... I have feedback on a 'gun' forum (leaving it generic as I dont know all the rules here) as well as standard ebay feedback.

Agreed.

This is the only place close that probably stocks them as normal items (when they are in stock!). BUT, I have to issue a Snob Warning for the shop. Been there 2 dozen times or more in the last 3 years. Never felt welcome. BUT, one helluva a selection of cigars.

You can pick them up at MSRP at Tampasweetheart.com with the purchase of one of their bundles or anything else that takes you over $25. Just send them a email requesting their list of what is in stock. The TS bundles are a great everyday smoke.

tampa sweethearts rarely has the opus x you are looking for. they carry the forbidden and rare stuff and generally all the gift sets. they almost always have anejo in stock but you are limited too two at a time.
