Re: la carolina

I'm a huge fan of cuban crafter cigars. I really like them definitely one of the more interesting tasting cigars I've had.

Re: la carolina

I have had some really excellent La Carolina Coronas, but it's been a while since I've had one. I have a box of them that have been sitting for 18 months. I should give one of them a try soon.

Re: la carolina

I've heard that the La Carolina is the same blend as the old Cupido line, or is it the Cupido Criollo? For some reason, every time I smoked one of the original Cupidos my sinuses would completely fill up. I did not have this problem with the Criollo & consider it to be a fine cigar.

Re: la carolina

A couple of years ago I got a sampler of the old Cupidos from Cigarbid.

Most of them tasted like the new Cupido Criollos, but a couple tasted like the La Carolinas.

So I am as confused as you are.

(I really like both smokes but they have very different taste profiles.)
