That's a dung beetle... they roll balls of pooh around. Kinda cool to watch them tear dog poop apart and roll it behind them. I know I have a video of it around here somewhere......

I was sitting out on the porch and he came up and hung around for awhile. No complaining about the cigar smoke so I snapped his picture. He has moved about 3 feet in the opposite direction. Love the small silent type!
