Tasting through the nose

Snorking is done on the exhale, I like exhaling a bit through the mouth, then putting my tongue on the top of my mouth to block the smoke and force it out through the nose. The other method is tucking your chin to your chest, this forces the smoke out through your nose as well. Thanks to those who have previously posted these "tricks" to snorking.

I also like inhaling a bit of the resting smoke or exhaled smoke to get some additional tastes.

Do this sort of like a french inhale (without the inhaling). I just open my mouth with all the smoke in it, and sort of "scoop" it out into the air with my jaw. I've been trying something similar. I exhale out of mouth and up and then inhale a bit into my nose. That may work also.

I've tried exhaling though my nose a bit but it seems like I need to get a lot of the smoke in the back of my throat for that to work. I've only been able to get it to work a couple of times.

I've always done the 80/20 thing. If it works for you stick with it. Anything more or less for me sucks.

does it matter what order you do it in? i usually exhale 10-30% through the nose 1st then the remaining smoke out the mouth. should i be doing mouth exhale 1st then the nose or doesnt it matter?

Being sort of a newb too I actually didn't try this un5till I came here to CS. Like you at first it burned but I read all I could here and slowly tried a little at a time.

I only held a tiny bit of smoke to let through the nose, don't know what %, but at times I got to line where I felt a little uncomfortable.

One of the things that makes you probably wanting to do it is to get all the enjoyment so many here talk about. It definitely will allow you to sense tastes that you may miss out on otherwise.

But go at your own pace for sure. For the biggest part of a year I didn't do it at all and I thought I was doing everything to enjoy the smokes I was trying and in fact I did enjoy them. Now tho as I can snork the smoke some as well, it just ,makes the smoking adventure even more pleasurable.

As for when to let the smoke out through the nose. first or last, I do it both ways. It almost is becoming second nature. I never smoked cigarettes in fact the only smoking I ever did was a pipe off and on over the years and a few wild weed smokes back in the late 60's and early 70's.....I seem to forget..oh well.

But AT 58 now I am trying new ways and new techniques and it just gets better with each smoke. Just hold on tightly, this slope can be treacherous at times....

Definately it is a technique to be learned, but once it is learned your sticks taste a whole world more complex and much more enjoyable

All this talk about snorking and what not makes me want to snork right now. Unfortunatley for me I cant cause im stuck here at work (i aint doing much work can you tell)

Anyway, take it slow and try not to force the smoke. Exhale as gently as possible and you should be ok
