An interesting conversation

Just sharing a moment that made me smile yesterday with my fellow primates:

Life has been hectic for me and mine lately, so my GF and I decided to go out on the back deck last night and enjoy the cool autumn evening with some cigars. My choice was a Taboo Twist Torpedo, and she selected a Montecristo Media Noche. Our drink of choice was a bottle of Pinot Noir, though she switched to a Reisling after the Pinot reacted unfavorably with the Monte. Throughout the conversation we talked about work and friends and things to do around the house. Lately, money has been a bit short, so I've put myself on a self imposed "freeze" on buying new cigars (which I've been thoroughly breaking, but after each order I tell myself I'm done for a month). Eventually the conversation steers to cigars and she turns to me and says, "well, when you decide to start buying cigars again, pick me up some full size Montecristo Platinums and I'll pay you back". It made me stop for a second and realize just how lucky I am to have such a woman in my life. I read a lot of threads around here about sneaking cigars into the house and lying to wives, and it makes me happy that not only does my other half smoke with me, but she likes stronger cigars than I do!

So please, if you can help it, don't bid on the monte platinum toros closing today on cbid. I'd like to get them at a nice price. THANKS!

My wife doesn't want her own cigar (yet, I'm working on it ) but she will take a puff or two once in a while from whatever I'm smoking. She fully supports my hobby and recognizes the relaxation factor involved. I love her
