Cello Wrapper On Or Off?

Do the Gorillas around here keep the cello wrapping on their cigars on or take them off when they go in the humi? I've seen different people on here say different things. Just wondering what's the best way to do things.

I store them how I receive them. If they have cello on then I keep it on. IMO it helps protect them when I am rummaging around for something to smoke.

I don't really care. I will usually leave it on if it comes that way, but I don't really care one way or the other.

Do an advanced search with the word "cello" in "thread titles only"...there are literally scores of threads on this already, and you may hear from some Gorillas who might not chime in again.

I know most say cello is permeable and all that but I prefer all my cigs in the humi naked. No cellophane, no plastic cases, just the cigar with the band. And speaking of damaged wrappers - it's not like I'm shaking my humi around and I'm very delicate with the stogies when needing to move them.

I used to be indifferent about cello, but after smoking a few 15+ year old machine made Cubans in cello, I am offically a FAN of cellophane. I think it locks in a lot of flavor and aroma. It also protects the cigar not only from damage but from environment changes as well. Viva cellophane!

I am a fan of naked and tend to strip those smokes down to their skivvies(sp), but I may have to rethink getting naked with my smokes!

I keep the cello on. I find that the wrappers get damaged when searching for a smoke in the humi.

I usually take the cello off as they tend to age better and breath, which in the end usually makes for a better cigar. Almost all my cigars are nude.
