How far would you go for some local ISOMs?

TOday im filling up the Camelpack and heading out to a not-so-local tobacco shop that usually has a nice ISOM collection, including my 2 favorites the Diplomaticos No. 2 and the RyJ CHURCHILL. Anyway i only get to go once a month at best cause its 40 min. away.

So my brother and I are picking out some mild morning smokes for the ride up there and then there goes the kids college fund! haha! anyway i was just wondering how far some of my fellow gorillas have to go for some decent, fairly priced ISOMs or CFTITSLC (or whatever were using now)

Re: How far would you go for some local ISOMs?

Not sure what you are asking here since I need to leave the country to get Cuban cigars. Unfortunately Canada and Tijuana are both more than six hours from my house. If they were 40 minutes from my house, I'd be there everyday. Alas, I have no local ISOMs.

Probably about a 45 min drive including customs wait to get to Windsor Canada from western suburbs or Detroit. Trouble is the taxes are so high I could fly to Europe and buy boxes cheaper.

Re: How far would you go for some local ISOMs?

I've never heard of a B&M selling Cubans out of their store. Maybe giving some to their buddies or letting their customers keep Cubans in their lockers but never selling Cubans.

But if you're getting real Cubans inside the U.S. from a legit B&M and for decent prices, then you go man.

Re: How far would you go for some local ISOMs?

I can get them about 10 minutes from my house, but they are $20 a stick. So they are a bint of a treat for me now and then. I will start to mail order them from time to time though.

I can see Windsor from my window here at work.
And I can concur on the prices.
A nice stick will set you back $35.00/can.

you've probably never heard it cause its stupid for a B+M to sell em lol. Customs WILL come down hard on a business selling them if they catch them, not just confiscate. Least I would expect they would.

No reputable vendor would do this. I HAVE heard of it happening, but most of the time they just passing out fakes. If a B&M here in the states offers you something cuban, walk away.
