Famous Nicaraguan 2000 Robusto

After reading many favorable reviews here of Famous Smoke Shop's house brands I bought a couple of bundles of the 2000's, this one & a bundle of Honduran made. I have been looking for a good & cheap mild-medium smoke for my morning ride to work.
I actually wanted to buy the 3000's but they were out of stock at the time.
After a few weeks in my humidor I smoked my first Famous Nicaraguan 2000 Robusto on my morning commute today. It was excellent! Tasty, flavorful, with a great burn. Although the manufacturer classifies this smoke as"mild" I would put into my "medium" catagory. Great volume of sweet smoke, a very pleasing eye opener.

The Dominican 5000 shocked me too as being a good smoke...The Famous house brands are a great value.

Thanks for the info. I've been curious how the other Famous bundles compare. I know the Nic 3000 is super popular, but I wondered how the others are. It sounds like the Nic 3000 may be a little strong for my preferences, but I was wondering about the Honduran and some of their other milder cigars.

The Famous line really are good values. The 3000s are easily as good as or better than a number of cigars I've had costing five times as much. The only one I've tried that I didn't care for was the Famous Oscuro that I bought a bundle of a while back out of curiosity.
