Question for an Essay

Hey everyone!
I am doing a school project and have a question. I have searched on this site and have found many good sites that will deliver cigars to Canadians but what I was wondering is if anyone knows of a site that is specifically Canadian only. If there is, have you ever used it and what was the extra fees your paid because it was Canadian? My essay is actually a feasibility guide to figure out if there is anyway to open a Canadian only website with comparible prices to the American sites! So far, it's not looking good with all the border fees! lol Oh well, thank goodness it's just a feasibility study!

I think I remember reading somewhere that it was illegal to ship tobacco products in between Canadian provinces. I could be misstaken though, it happens.

Yes, this is true, I was looking for places in Canada and found the vancouver cigar co, and when I fired them an e-mail asking if they would ship to me (in ontario) they said they wouldn't do it because they can't ship between canadian provinces. One place I found for ontario was cigar zan, but as you wrote, you pay so many taxes and such it's better to just find a place outside of Canada.

You are correct. A Canadian cigar company can ship withing the province and internationally, but not to another province. However, some companies will do this on the QT. They just can't say they do it on their site.

I haven't tried ordering from any Canadian companies yet.

And for fees and taxes and all that, it's best just to go look on the government websites and look them up. That way you'll have a good reputable source to put in your bibliography (not saying people here aren't knowledgeable, quite the contrary, but from a writing paper standpoint u know? lol and yes yes I understand politicians and such are FAR from reputable sometimes...)
