Newbie looking for advice
I'm new to smoking cigars after I was lucky enough to have accepted one at another members party most recently. To this point, Ive been able to try a few sticks such as, Macanudo Hyde park, Fuente Don Carlos,Oliva O and a few others which I can't recall.
To this point I've enjoyed the Hyde Parks and am curious what some might recommend in a light to mild bodied for someone who's just getting their feet wet. Respectfully Submitted |

Re: Newbie looking for advice
The first cigar i liked enough to buy a box of was a sun grown chateau Fuente. Very mild, and a very good smoke if you ask me. I'm a newbie too though, so maybe you shouldnt ask me..

Also, I'd recommend the CAO Gold, my first (and only) box purchase.

Re: Newbie looking for advice
Seconded on the Gispert and Cusano 18. These are great mild cigars. I'd also recommend you try the Romeo Reserva Reals. You can get a sampler here:
http://www.romeoyjulietareservarealoffer.com/promo.html Someone recommended the Fuente Sungrowns, they're one of my favorites, but I wouldn't call them mild. I'd put them in the full bodied category, although they're often as smooth as a mild. Definately give them a try though along with the other Chateau Fuentes (natural and maduro) the naturals being the mildest. 858 naturals are also nice medium/mild from Fuente. Another good mild is the Hoyo De Monterey Excalibur English Claros. You should like those if you like Macs. Avo Classics are another great mild, but a bit expensive, as well as Ashton Classics. I should add that the only mild cigar I smoke anymore are the Gispert Churchills. Nice big tasty smooth cigar for cheap. Always keep a box on hand.

Re: Newbie looking for advice
CAO cameroon, Puros Indios rothschild, Ashton Magnum, Montesino diplomatico, Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real robusto, Hoyo de Monterrey rothschild, Punch rothschild, Canaria D'Oro immenso, La Unica #400. These are some decent sticks that are fairly mild to medium bodied that on average aren't that bad price wise and you should be able to find at most local shops. Lately, for a milder smoke, I have been enjoying the Puros Indios.
