Re: Cabaiguan Belicoso Fino

It's a very nice cigar. A bit of the Pepin spice but I find this to be very creamy and smooth. The complex flavors are definitely there to make it an enjoyable smoke after a big meal but it's not smack you around strong like some of the Pepin sticks so you can also have these earlier in the day.

It's one of my top five cigars. For all the hype surrounding Tatuajes (and they deserve most of it) the Cabiaguans are vastly underrated.

If you do try the Cabs and like them I've found the Tobacos Baez and La Aroma de Cuba Edicion Especial to be similar in profile.

I’ve enjoyed the handful that I’ve had. They’re mild/medium smokes(well, at least for me), but are tasty. I just purchased some more several weeks ago, but have yet to smoke them. I think they’re worth a try.

I'm with him.
A good morning smoke with coffee. The maduro version is more to my liking since it is more in the medium range and ahs more complex flavors, kind of tough to find now tho.

Re: Cabaiguan Belicoso Fino

The Cabaiguan's are a great cigar. I have had a few of the churchill size (Imperiales) naturals.
They are similar to the La Aroma de Cuba EE's in strength, but the Cabaiguans are much more complex with underlying flavors of spice, earth, cream and nuts. They don't pack too much punch. Definitely on the low side of Medium strength.
They remind me of some CC's with that certain earthy twang and definitely worth picking up!
