Working from home

Ok... so I had to go to the Dentist today for cleaning/consultation/etc. Since the appointment was at 10:30; I got the OK from the boss (work boss that is ) to work at home.

So after the appointment and some lunch; I fired up the laptop on the balcony. Connected to work & fired up some sticks. Started with a Casa Royale (1-word review: OK) and now I'm on a DPG Blue Generoso (). Since there is a storm coming in and the seasons are changing; I figured this may be one of my last chances to capitalize on the opportunity.

So beside you lucky bastages who work at a B&M; who else here gets the chance to work from home time-to-time? Luckily I have an employer who gives me this benefit. Anyone else?

Re: Working from home

I work from home sometimes or go to our courtyard to work and smoke. This past Tuesday I had car trouble and while I was waiting for it to be fixed, I sat at a cigar shop and worked and smoked.

I find I am more productive when I smoke and work.

Re: Working from home

Working from home has its benefits but it is not like it is all sunshine and cigars. It can get sorta lonely day in and day out.

Whenever I am not traveling, which has slowed down quite a bit, I always work from home with my laptop, wireless, in my patio, in South Florida (hint: December/January, yup, same place), with a cigar in hand and a tv on the wall to keep me company.

It is a rough life but I have gotten use to it.

Re: Working from home

Once or twice a month, and usually around 11 I head up to the B&M, get on the wifi and spark a couple sticks.

Re: Working from home

I work freelance at home at night and on weekends. Rarely do I ever get to sit outside to smoke and work just because I hate doing design work on my POS laptop. When the time comes to get a new home I already told the wife that it needs to have a basement so I can have a smoking room/office.

Re: Working from home

I rarely get a chance to work from home and when I do, it's usually when I'm out sick. I think it would be cool to do, especially during the summer when there's some great smoking weather.
