Nub 460 Habano

Well after reading about some of these short cigars I went out this morning and bought a few Nubs to try. Looking at the cigar I didn't think it would last more than 30 minutes but I was really wrong!!, it lasted every bit of 1hr and 15min. It smoked down to about 3/4" and it never gave the heat to me. This stick agreed with my taste for sure, I'm looking forward to the rest.

Re: Nub 460 Habano

I'm not sure which Nubs you bought, but even if you don't normally smoke Connie wrapped cigars, you have got to try at least one.
I don't normally go for those, but the Nub Conn. is one of the best I've ever had! It doesn't have the same flavor profile as other Connecticut shade wrappers.

I agree. The NUBS are a pretty good cigar.

Good to know, I also picked up two of the 460's in the Conn and look forward to them as well

The cammie was not terrible, but the habano had to be one of the worst cigars I ever tried to smoke.

I have yet to purchase any one of the Nub cigars. What was it about them that you did not like? Any reason, don't match up to other cigars in the same price range? Disappointing flavor, no flavor, I would really like to get your opinion. Thanks.

Re: Nub 460 Habano

Had the same stick (is it really a stick?) yesterday. Pretty tasty, good burn. I prefer the Cameroon, and I think the torpedo makes them easier to smoke.

Re: Nub 460 Habano

All the nubs are good.
Decently priced. Tasty. Do have that sweet spot through the entire cigar.

460 is the best vitola for me on all wrappers.

One complaint. If you can call it that. They don't "finish". I feel like having a cigar right after setting it down. Not that it didn't last enough. Just leaves me wanting more. Don't know if that's bad. But I'm but used to it.

Not worth the price, the draw is too loose on them and it just tasted like tobacco. No flavors IMO, other than a sour feet taste.

Re: Nub 460 Habano

Smoked one yesterday and it was great. They are all fine smokes IMHO. Never had one that didnt burn correctly or tasted like feet, not that I'd know what that tastes like. Decently priced, well constructed and tons of smoke. I like and have smoked them all, Cammy Connie and the Habbie.

Re: Nub 460 Habano

I'll buy these NUBs and try when they are $2.00 a piece, not at $5 or $6 a piece. Man, the thing looks like a vienna sausage.
