bottled water instead of distilled water?
First off, i ALWAYS use straight up distilled water from the super market but i am currently out.
2nd off. My beads are starting to look a little dry and im currently at about 63%RH, i can't sleep and im extremely bored. I've played vino-tetris a few times tonight and now i have this huge urge/OCD problem about respraying my beads but only have nestle bottled water. will this have the same effects on my beads as tap water? or will this be fine and have the same safe results for my beads as distilled water? the bottle says they use reverse osmosis but add minerals in the water for taste such as calcium, sodium bircarbonate, and magnesium sulfate.

If they add minerals, I would say that's a big no.
Better safe than sorry.

If the water has added minerals I would refrain from spraying it directly on the beads. The minerals will plug up the pores of the beads. Since the water has been ozonated and is biologically inactive I would try putting it on a new sponge and then put the sponge in the humi and let the beads soak up the water vapor that evaporates from the sponge since it will basically be distilled at that point. Hope this helps!

I'd run out to 7-11 and buy distilled water.

Or just boil some water and make your own!! Put a lid on a pan as you boil water and what collects on the inside lid will be distilled water. Make sure the pan and lid are clean.

I'm with Icehog on this one. Don't risk messing up the beads, go with the all night Walmart and buy some distilled water for the beads. Take care of the beads and they will take care of you for a long time.
