Smoking at a college football game
This past Saturday night I went to the Southern University and Jackson State game. I made it a point to sit close to the top of the stadium so that the smoke wouldn't bother anyone. As the 1st quarter began, I lit my Perdomo Lot 23 cigar as the kicker kicked the ball. Man what a thrill to be in a packed stadium enjoying a stogie. To boot, people around me were not offended, and several asked what kind of cigar I was smoking because it smelled good. I offered directions to the slope: our hangout (Club Stogie) and several sites such as CI and the Cbid. Ahh life is wonderful. By the way my Southern University Jaguars won.

Awesome. Surprises me that you are allowed to smoke at a college game. never been to one that allows it.

Lucky. Here, we can't bring in much of anything; food, drinks, even umbrellas aren't allowed. So I don't think I could get away with smoking, even at the top of the stadium.

I attended a Plant/Krauss concert a few weeks ago and smelled zero marijuana, cigar smells were plenty and I spotted about 5 stogie puffers in my 50 foot radius, not bad

He isn't supposed to, but like any college in LA enforces rules *eyeroll*.



I've puffed away merrily in Tiger Stadium befoe without an issue. The can't police every smoker, so they don't bother really.


Oddly, UL-Lafayette managed to win one...but then they won against UL-Monroe....it really is a UL-u-pickum world.

Glad you could enjoy the game without any complaints. I enjoy smoking when I go to watch the local late model stockers duke it out. Occasionally some folks ask what I am smoking and one night the guy beside me pulled out a Drew Estate Blondie.

I usually make four or five University of Memphis games, and a cigar is always part of the pre-game , but no smoking in the stadium....

The places to smoke in public are becoming harder to find everyday.
