Ashton aged maduro

Had a chance to try this smoke today and it's quite outstanding. Had anyone else had a chance to try this smoke? Not bad for a morning smoke. Smooth and very sweet smoke.

Re: Ashton aged maduro

The Aged Maduro is a cigar that I've been wondering about for some time. I love Ashton Cigars but for some reason I never really hear anything about the Aged Maddies around the Jungle. I've been trying to find some on CBid that aren't going for a ridicules price, but that hasn't happened yet. I'm glad you posted you thoughts about them.

Re: Ashton aged maduro

An Ashton Aged Maduro was my first handmade cigar 18 years ago. They were great! At $5.00 each, I smoked one every month or so. I'd check the humidity every once in a while which is where my wife came up with the phrase, "checking on your loved ones, again, I see."

Imagine my surprise one day when I opened my humi and discovered I was about 8-10 cigars short! It seems there was some function at college and my oldest daughter grabbed a handful to pass out----which danged near caused me to pass out. My wife was on the phone with this daughter when I discovered the shortage. Daughter says, "what's dad so excited about?". Wife says, "he's mumbling something about his beloved Aged maduros". Daughter: "uh, oh." She sheepishly brought me back one and a half "pre-smoked" cigars.

The thought that some of the boys she gave them to took a few puffs and tossed them is a thought too much to bear, even today.

Ashton Maddies work for me! I have smoked a few and they all agree with me!...
They are like "sleeper" smokes / under the radar and right on target

I've had a few and love them. Usually hover around the $200 per box range... so I've stayed away. If money were no object, I'd have a box or two laying around.

My condolences on the loss of your daughter. You did disown her. Right?

Re: Ashton aged maduro

I think these are great smokes. The Aged Maduro #60 was the very first box purchase I ever made and I still have a few around. I think this is a cigar that will always have a place in my humi.

Re: Ashton aged maduro

I really like them. Although a bit pricy they are well worth it.

Naw. I think the stock market is in the process of disowning her.
