I think I have a few more weeks (Ohio???) before I have to stop ordering all together for the year.

We had the worst summer in 21 years, weather-wise. We usually don't have much of a Spring or Fall. This year, Fall started in June, cloudy and rainy nearly every damned day. We got snow on Sunday. It didn't stick, but Summer, such as it was, is definitely over.

As for CI porch bombs, my first CI order was placed on Sunday and delivered on Saturday, when I am home, so I placed my second one also on Sunday. I'm hoping I can establish this as a reliable delivery schedule. It would be very bad to have a delivery sitting on the back porch for 6+ hours waiting for me to get home from work. The temp for the next 6 months will swing between +/- 30 degrees, not stogie-friendly. I would hate to have to rent a PO box, just for smokes.

I just replace the large size cigar purchases with Single Malts, so it kind of evens out. Especially this year since I seem to have finished off about 5 bottles that just had a few inches left in the bottom. Makes the bar seem empty.

So true! I might even have to find out where I put my socks.

I'm definitely switching to smaller format cigars like PCs and switching from summer wines to nice big cabs!
