ok...not saying what i am gonna do or suggesting what anyone else should do but with the recent purchase of cigar message boards to be merged into one what are the other options out there if someone decides the new format isnt for them?

Someone could start a new forum and all the members could go there. It would be a new name but still have the same members and we'd have sole control. However, someone would have to donate their time as Paul did and it would probably take awhile to be as nice as it is here.

This is what happened to a forum I used to be a part of. The site changed hands and a group branched off and started their own site. Eventually most people moved to the newly created site and abandoned the site that changed ownership.
