Edge Sumatra

I have thought about this for a few days and decided to let the cat out of the bag. I went to a Majestic Fine Wine & Spirits store in Arlington the other day and in their humidor they had a 100 ct box of Rocky Patel Edge Sumatra cigars. I knew they had stopped making these so I got a couple since I had not tried them before. Wow what a cigar. Anyway the next day I went to a majestic here in Fort Worth and they had 1 1/2 boxes at $4.49/ so I stocked up and now to let anyone who loves this cigar know they seem to have them in most of the stores with humidor rooms. Good hunting!

To bad they were such a short run as far as how long they were made. It seemed like they were only out for a few months and then I hear they were going to stop making them.

I don't think there are any left here in Houston. Sounds like you made a good find there! If you haven't tried one yet the RP Summer Collection is a pretty good smoke! But yes a short life on this one also!

Holts will sell them for $75/box once in a blue moon.

If you look hard enough, they can still be found. I'm glad I picked up a cab of them. I'm down to around 50ish, though

Yep, I bought a box from them about two months ago for $79. They still have some, but the price is up to about $100. Still worth it in my opinion.

I've been to a couple of the Majestic's around the Ft Worth area and most of them still had the Sumatra in. I was surprised how good the pricing is at the Majestic's.

It's not easy to even see their humi room, it's tucked in the corner with just a small door, but the selection and prices are good.
